Our Project

Our project is about positioning a device with Bluetooth. It is a common problem in GPS that it doesn’t locate a device exactly within an enclosed area. This problem is tackled by locating the position of the user with the help of Bluetooth device and its unique address. The unique addresses of these devices are installed along with the details of that particular location and are stored in a database. As soon as a person enters the Bluetooth device range at the entrance the server sends the software automatically along with the database to his Bluetooth enabled mobile device. The software detects the devices that are installed in the building and it alerts the location of the person. So if the person is new to that area he does not need any guidance of his location and how to reach his destination. This positioning technique even locates the height which is not possible by GPS. The software has a history of his past locations along with the time.
